What have I been reading lately, What I conceive about twitter and why blogging is the best.

Sunday, June 28th, 2009

I have been taking in a lot of great new blogs lately. I am not sure about all the twitter fuss. I still love blogs and have a huge number in my feed reader.

The cool thing about blogs is that you can find hidden treasures, and they are from individuals that actually like to write.

Sure you can chance some groovy souls on twitter. But, seriously, twitter is for individuals with add or who dont like to write longer posts. Yes, stacks of people twitter and also blog, and those individuals are chill by me, but I am forever and evermore a blog lover.

Blogs pressure the author to in reality articluate their thought. Twitter by comparison merely allows for you to submit it. Call me old fashioned but I think there is a point where smaller is no longer hotter. We have been obsessed with miniturization for so long. Particularly when it comes to technology. Surely there has to be a level where we recognize substance matters. Value matters. What do you think?

Maybe the practical answer dwells in balance. And compromise. You cannot push individuals to have marrow and not be shallow. But, too possibly you need to push the neo libral hippies to lighten up a little too?

A Massive Amount of People Each and Every Week Prefer to Use Identical Lotto Numbers for Their Entries; Which in Many Lotteries Will Only Cover a Part of Any Potential Lotto Selection

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Can you decipher the code applying your own unique strategy or rely on an elottery syndicate to decide them on your behalf? We unrealistically like to believe that if we do not do something or do it the wrong way that something bad might happen, in that instance; if we miss doing our numbers that week they are certain to come up!

A staggering amount of individuals each and every week choose to use the same numbers for their entries; quite often these are memorable dates of loved ones, which in many lotteries will only cover part of any potential lottery selections.

Being the person to choose the lotto winning numbers is of course something each and every dedicated lottery player wants to do and as human beings, we all have a natural bias against anything thats random, we like some form of control and rules that make sense to us.

So your number comes up more frequently; that does not mean to say it will come up again! its nearly impossible to choose any set of lottery numbers that are likely to win. All lotteries are a game of pure chance and each and every lottery number picked is simply at random. So the upshot in that respect is – no number is more random than another.

If you look at the rules of probability, as one number is picked the likelihood of your selected number going to be drawn afterwards is slightly increased purely because the possible selection is lessened.

If you decide on the same lotto numbers each and every week, remember they are still random lottery numbers and you stand just as much a probability of winning with those same lotto numbers as with a lucky-dip selection. All The Same, if you use birthday numbers in a lottery draw your individual chances of winning the jackpot still remain the same but likewise your prospect of keeping the jackpot to yourself is dramatically reduced because so many other players use birthday numbers in their choices.

Applying the same lotto numbers will mean you would have to play 135,000 times to even have an evens chance of winning. Unfortunately, to win the lotto jackpot you will just have roughly a 1 in 14 million chance of being successful; however we all think it could be us. Does that sound like a good prospect; would you be luckier joining up to a lottery syndicate?

Self-Diagnosis of Mesothelioma Cannot Be Done Accurately, it Demands a Specialized Doctor and Tests

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Cancer of the mesothelium is known to have a few primary symptoms. Pleural mesotheliomas main symptom is shortness of breath caused by pleural effusion ” the buildup of fluid in the pleura, or membrane, surrounding the lung. The next most common symptomis chest pain because the tumor is attacking the chest wall. Symptoms may also include fatigue, loss of weight and night sweats

The main indicatorof patients with peritoneal mesothelioma, which originates in the abdomen, is the swelling of the abdomen because of fluid accumulation (ascites), bowel obstruction, and stomach pain.

It is key to understand that these symptoms could be caused by a myriad of diseases or conditions. But if you have experienced any of these symptoms and have had asbestos exposure, you should see your doctor.

Pleural mesothelioma cancer is problematic to diagnose, because the symptoms are also experienced in less serious health issues. Typical symptoms:

  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest or lower back pains due to accumulated fluid in the pleura
  • Running a temperature
  • Upset stomach
  • Hoarseness
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Coughing blood

One should not self-diagnose themselves. Sufferers of the above symptoms should not panic, and should consult their doctor. Performing a biopsy is the standard way to confirm the condition. A pathologist removes a piece of tissue from the suspicious area and performs an examination that will result in a very accurate diagnosis. Usually, biopsies do not hurt.

CT scans (Computed Tomography) are an option to avoid a biopsy. This is an X-ray procedure where a scanner takes many cross-sectional images as it rotates around the body. Sometimes, the patient ingests a dye that helps define the picture. CT scans have an advantage over biopsies by being easier and non-invasive, and they are known to be an effective diagnostic tool. Opinions vary whether a CT scan or biopsy is cheaper. If there are irregularities, a biopsy may also be needed to know if the abnormality is a tumor, and if thats the case, if its malignant or benign. It is also possible to diagnose pleural mesothelioma by looking for cancer cells in a sample of fluid from the pleura.

Mesothelioma can also be screened and then diagnosed by any of these methods. Screening is when patients who may suspect they are at risk are tested for the condition without displaying any symptoms, to ensure they are not at risk to get the cancer or to catch the cancer early. People who need to be screened include those with a history of asbestos exposure..

History of the Wrist Watch

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

From pocket watch to a fashion accessory. What was once, in the earliest years of portable watches, considered to be unsuitable for gentlemen and only for women, has developed nowadays into a fashion utensil that everybody has. Meanwhile, the wrist watch is no longer just a instrument to tell the time. It is a designer piece and can indicate much more than the time.

A great deal of mechanics in a small housing

The first confirmable portable timepiece was constructed in 1500. This was not a wrist watch, but more of a pocket watch. Through technical advancement, which made it possible for people to house mechanics in an increasingly smaller space, the required components of the clockworks were able to be brought into a manageable form. In this way, the first pocket watch was born, which at the time was still the size of an egg.

The computerized wristwatch from Japan

A entirely new wrist watch came onto the market in the 1970’s from Japan, which had built its own watch industry. The new wristwatch from Japan was no longer set on a mechanical basis, but on a computerized control. This wristwatch expanded its range of capacity quickly. The watch no more just showed the time. The little timepiece on the wrist now also knew the date, the day of the week and even knew whether a leap year was involved.

The wristwatch as jewelry

Nowadays, the wrist watch is much more than a watch. The wristwatch has turn into a fashion accessory. Wristwatches come in all colors and forms imaginable. One can also get compatible watches from every fashion collection. The current watches are dominated by the correct fashion trends. Despite these various trends, there is something for every taste. The small watches, which need eyeglasses to tell the time, and the extravagant huge watches, which make it difficult to walk upright. In any case, one thing is sure: science is still likely to make so much advance – that the wrist watch will be found on the wrists of people for a long time, to respond to the question as to what time it is.
